The National Edible Oil Distributors’ Association

Promote the interests of members and raise standards

NEODA was established in 1947. Its members include edible oil and fats refiners, processors, distributors, waste oil collectors (who also sell fresh oil). It also covers manufacturers and suppliers of non oil products (including batter mix, sausages, packaging, potato preservatives) and other industry bodies.

The National Edible Oil Distributor’s Association’s key objective is to promote the interests of its members and raise standards across the entire edible oil packing and distributive trade. Whatever your involvement within the edible oil trade, whether a refiner, a packer or a distributor, NEODA provides an open forum for discussion for everyone working to protect and promote the production and sale of high quality edible oils and fats sold within the UK.

Our members represent most key businesses and industries:

  • Fish & chips and fast foods
  • Food service – cost and profit sectors
  • Commercial bakeries
  • Food manufacturing
  • Retailing

The President’s Committee meets usually four times per annum and it’s key purpose is to collectively direct the Association’s affairs.
