The fundamental objective of NEODA is to represent and promote the United Kingdom's edible oil packing and distributive industry widely and effectively.
Detailed objectives are:-
to promote the common interest and knowledge of its members.
to represent the members in dealing with Government and other regulatory bodies and to cooperate with these bodies in the preparation of regulations which could affect the industry.
to represent the interests of the industry within the European Community.
to seek collective solutions to technical and nutritional problems of common concern.
to examine issues relating to the production, supply and use of the industry's products.
to be ready to act in any emergencies affecting these materials.
to work with other Associations to develop joint approaches on common issues.
